Dr Mark Liu is a consultant urologist and robotic surgeon at the Sydney Adventist and Macquarie University Hospitals.

His areas of subspecialty expertise are urological cancers of the kidney, prostate, bladder and adrenal. He is frequently requested to proctor other colleagues in robotic surgery and complex cases. Mark is passionate about minimally invasive surgery and cutting-edge treatments. He also offers the latest treatment options for patients with benign prostatic enlargement and stone disease.

Mark is currently a senior clinical lecturer at the Macquarie University and holds public appointment at the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital and Concord Repatriation General Hospital.

He is a native Mandarin speaker and can communicate complex medical information effortlessly in Chinese.

He graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2008 and completed internship and residency at the Concord Repatriation General Hospital. He was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons after six years of surgical training across Australia. During this period, he completed the Master of Surgery at the University of Sydney with a dissertation on the management of renal tumours.

He then completed subspecialty fellowships at the world-renowned the Royal Marsden Hospital in London (UK) and the Wake Forest Medical Centre (North Carolina, USA). He was mentored by world-class leaders and pioneers in the field of robotic and cancer surgery. Whilst in America, he was a member of the Urology Faculty and operated as an attending urological surgeon.

Mark believes in providing precise, personalised and compassionate care to his patients.

He also grew up in the area and feels privileged to serve the local community.

Dr. Robert George is a Specialist Surgeon with a deep commitment to providing comprehensive Surgical care in Northern Sydney, with a philosophy built on an approachable and personalised framework.

After being granted Fellowship by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS), Dr George completed an additional 3 years of surgical subspecialty training in Emergency Surgery, Breast Surgery, and Melanoma-Sarcoma-Endocrine surgery. He maintains affiliations and certifications with General Surgery Australia, GESA-Endoscopy, Breast Surgery Australia and New Zealand (BreastSurgANZ), and the Melanoma Institute of Australia.

Dr George has a strong academic foundation, graduating as a University medallist and pursuing a Scientific PhD. He remains committed to research and the training of Junior Doctors.
