Eastwood Village Medical Practice was established by Jennifer and Caroline Chan in 2005 with a mission to establish a medical practice that not only provides the highest quality medical care to families but also a clinic where patients can feel comfortable and trust that their doctor will always look after them.

Our practice believes that genuine quality ‘whole person care’ does not only treat your illness and listen to your concerns but also offers preventative care to help you attain true health and wellness. Today, Jennifer and Caroline lead a team of highly experienced Eastwood doctors, who between them have a wealth of knowledge spanning a wide range of medical services, and who continue to deliver this healthcare philosophy to all its patients.

Dr Jennifer Chan

Dr. Jennifer Chan graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1993 and is one of the founders of Eastwood Village Medical Practice. Together with Dr. Caroline Chan they founded Eastwood Village Medical Practice in 2005, with a vision to form a medical practice that delivers the highest quality whole person care in an environment that patients can feel comfortable and welcomed. She has a special interest in paediatrics, women’s health, chronic disease prevention and treatment. Dr. Jennifer’s empathetic approach and extensive experience, has led patients from all over Sydney to visit her, a testament to her commitment to offer quality care to her patients, and to her reputation as a well respected Medical Practitioner within the Eastwood community.

In her free time,  Jennifer enjoys catching up with family and friends over great food and coffee. 

Dr Caroline Chan

Dr Caroline Chan graduated from Sydney University in 1993 and is one of the Principal General Practitioners at Eastwood Village Medical Practice. Together with Dr Jennifer Chan, they founded Eastwood Village Medical Practice, a family practice with a vision that delivers the highest quality whole person care in an environment that patients can feel comfortable and welcomed. She has a keen interest in paediatrics, women’s health, preventing and treating chronic disease. Her dedication and commitment to delivering quality care has also led patients coming all over Sydney to visit her, and established her place as a  well-respected, empathetic Medical Practitioner in Eastwood. 

When not at work, Caroline enjoys spending time with family and friends over great food, relaxing over a good book or movie. 

Dr Eric Chan

Eric is a family GP who enjoys all aspects of general practice. He is a registered antenatal shared care practitioner with additional post graduate qualifications including special interests in sports medicine, men’s health, family medicine and chronic care. He is a great listener and goes beyond to solve complex medical cases. He has a beautiful wife Cecilia and is a doting father to two very adorable daughters.

He trained at RPA hospital, served with the Royal Australian Army Medical Corp from 2008 to 2013 & during this time he conducted humanitarian logistic work abroad in Nepal & The Solomon Islands. Since that time, he has worked locally as a family GP in Western Sydney for many years.

Dr Vivian Lau

Dr Vivian Lau graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2001, and became a fellow in 2009. She has been practicing as a General Practitioner for over 10 years, mainly in Eastwood, and has a wealth of knowledge and experience. She enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a special interest in Paediatrics, Women’s Health and Geriatrics. 

Always warm and friendly, the most fulfilling part of her work is the long-term relationships she has built with her patients. She spends her free time with her young adorable family. 

Dr Elsie Ng

Dr Elsie Ng graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2007 and trained at Westmead, Blacktown, Nepean and Campbelltown Hospitals before becoming a General Practitioner. She has been practicing for over 9 years and has a special interest in Paediatrics, Women’s Health, Aged Care and Preventative Health, Chronic Disease and Acupuncture. 

Dr Elsie offers her patients with a broad range of experience in general practice, gained in her training at Westmead Children’s Hospital for Child’s Health and Family Planning NSW for Women’s Health. She is also accredited to provide antenatal shared care at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Canterbury Hospital, Royal North Shore and Hornsby hospitals. She is experienced in helping elderly patients with her active involvement in medical care of patients at various aged care facilities. 

Dr Elsie enjoys caring for both men and women of all ages. She enjoys interacting with children and loves the privilege of caring for the whole family. She is also committed to providing medical care to people with a broad range of physical and mental disabilities. 

When she is not at work, she enjoys cooking instagrammable meals with friends, staycations and spending quality time with her 2 young children. 

Dr Yvonne Wang JP (Justice of the Peace)

Dr Yvonne Wang graduated from the University of NSW in 2006, and trained at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. She has been practicing as a General Practitioner since 2009 and has diverse experience in a range of health issues, gained while being a GP Registrar with GP Synergy Rural Australia and then returning as an Academic GP Registrar at the University of Sydney Western Clinical School Westmead. She has a special interest in Women’s Health and Fertility related issues and is accredited to perform surgical procedures for IUD removal, cryotherapy and also ear syringing. 

Dr Yvonne thoroughly enjoys being able to practice medicine in a GP setting as not only can she actively assist patients with their medical concerns, but at the same time she is given the opportunity to form ongoing relationships with great people. Dr Yvonne takes time off every year, to conduct humanitarian mission work in the Pacific Islands.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exploring new places, swimming, staying fit at the gym regularly and catching up with friends over a nice coffee or meal.

Dr Laurie Zhong

Dr Zhong graduated from University of Queensland in 2015 as valedictorian, achieving the highest mark of her graduating class. She is a fully qualified and registered GP who enjoys all aspects of family medicine. She has a special interest in chronic disease management and women’s health. She is trained in procedures such as Implanon insertion and removal, iron infusion, cryotherapy & skin biopsies.

She provides the most up to date, evidence based whole person treatment by getting to know each & every patient as an individual, while developing personalised healthy goals in collaboration with you.

In her spare time, Dr Zhong enjoys spending time with her family. She regularly goes for bushwalks to enjoy the Australian outdoors and likes to express her creativity in various arts and crafts.

Dr Mandy Hsueh

Dr Jesse Ning

Dr. Ning graduated from university of New South Wales in 2015 and worked at St George hospital before entering into the GP Synergy Training Program. She is currently in her final term as a GP registrar and looking to devote her career to promoting family health and continuity of care.

Dr. Ning enjoys all aspects of general medicine, and loves interacting with patients from all age groups, from all cultural and social backgrounds. Her area of special interest is women’s health and paediatrics in particular, helping families fulfil their full potential and promoting a healthy active lifestyle.

Outside of her career Dr. Zhixin Ning enjoys travelling, exploring outdoors, discovering beautiful natural sights and spending time with her family.
